I am a certified BWY & Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of training. I have trained with and continue to study under some of the industry’s top teachers worldwide.
I am qualified in Vinyasa flow, Hatha, Beginners, Yin, Pregnancy, yoga for Adaptive students and Children’s yoga. I specialise in teaching 1:1 or small groups which enables me to study individual bodies and really getting to know my students and their requirements.
Every single body and mind is unique and my classes are tailored to reflect this and bring about the best possible practice for every person on every day.
I extensively study mindfulness and meditation and, where appropriate, enjoy bringing this knowledge into classes to enhance the student’s experience in class and out.
My classes are always filled with light and laughter and I encourage my students to smile, let go and to trust the journey. In each class we work the physical body hard, re-connect and, find and restore balance – all whilst having fun!

Katie has been (and still is) my tutor during the yoga teacher training I am due to complete at Triyoga next Oct 2014. Yoga with Katie is the biggest treat of my week and feels like I am going to have a deluxe massage in a spa. Its a strange feeling and not the usual dread I might feel before going to exercise! I have done yoga in many other places and with lots of different teachers but nothing has been anything like as amazing as doing yoga with Katie. The classes are tailored to fit your personal needs and not only do they make you feel physically great but they are also wonderful for the mind.
